How long have you been in business?
Mindi Memmott has been a hair stylist since 1982. Element Salon is Mindi's 7th salon, and it has been in business for 10 years.
What is your primary product or service?
We are a full service salon ,Hair Extensions, Color, Cuts, Perms, Nails, Pedicure, Estetics, Permanent Cosmetics, Massage, Reiki, Waxing,
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I became interested at the age of 14 when I voluntered to cut my friends hair, It turned out well, and I became "hooked" so to speak. My Mom was a stylist and salon owner, and she offered to train me. I love this business!..my daughter Jaci Finch and my significant other Donovan Eastman, as well as many others work with me at Element Salon.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We have private rooms that we work in, thus giving the client more one on one attention, as well as the privacy they desire when they have their hair , or face, in a less than presentable manner. We are all independant, so we set our own hours, prices, and products.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
Orem, St George, We are planning to expand to Salt Lake uner the name Vanity Hair Salon. We have another company called Vanity Hair Extensions that we are in the process of solidifying. We teach hair extensions to other stylists and students of cosmetology, as well as sell the hair to licensed cosmetologists.

What are your hours of operation?
Monday thru Saturday. We offer hours to accomodate our clients busy schedules, Early mornings and late evenings
