How long have you been in business?
Nuttall's is a family owned and operated business. Serving the Wasatch Front with 4 locations for almost 50 years.
What is your primary product or service?
We carry Bernina, Brother, and Janome sewing / embroidery machines. Handi Quilter quilting machines. Fashion Sewing Cabinets. We have a huge inventory of quilting fabrics as well as Minkee, Cuddle and Flannel. We have unusual fabrics for crafting and apparel. A large inventory of sewing notions and accessories. We service all brands of sewing equipment. We offer classes on how to use your equipment with every purchase. Also quilting and sewing classes for beginner and advanced are available.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
As the owner I have been teaching sewing for over 30 years. I love the customers and the creativity that our company offers. It is exciting to be able to help someone realize a dream or be able to create what they are visualizing. We get to be part of their success.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Most businesses are either Fabric Stores or Sewing Machine stores. We are unique in what we offer. We think of ourselves as a one-stop-shop. If we don't have what you need, we will try to find it for you. Our staff are professionals. They are always ready to answer your sewing questions. If they don't know the answer. . . .someone in the company does, and they will go out of their way to find it for our customers. We have a number of family members who work in our business and we think of not only all our employees as family, but customers too. We love to see our family grow!
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We have 4 locations. It is our goal to continue to cover the Wasatch Front with great sewing equipment and customer service. As the need for additional locations is necessary we will continue to explore the options.

What type of payments do you accept?
All major credit cards. We also have in-house financing for the purchase of sewing machines. No Credit . . . No Problem. We can work it out for you.
Which areas do you service?
We cover from Ogden all the way to Provo.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
We have managers in each location as well as a management team that works directly with the managers.
What are your hours of operation?
Nuttall's Sewing Centers are open Monday through Friday 9:00 am to 9:00 pm. Saturdays 9:00 am to 6:00 pm.
What is the best compliment anyone can give you?
I love to hear that our customers are getting GREAT customer service. I want them to feel at home in any of our stores and enjoy their time spent with us. It is fun to have customers drop by to show us their projects and share their experiences with us. For us a customers visit is like welcoming family into our home.
What is your favorite quote or Bible verse?
I guess with so many family members in our business anything to do with family is important. I put my own twist on an old quote. "The family that stays together, plays together." We spend lots of time together at work and yet enjoy our time outside work together as well. We welcome our customers to be part of our family. Our company motto is "Nuttall's Where Customers Are Family".
